Teatro San Carlo, “Dialogue between violins”: the next event of the Chamber Music Season

The concert entitled “Dialogue between violins” will continue the Chamber Music Season of the Teatro di San Carlo on Sunday 11 May at 6:00 pm , the event which features the Orchestra Professors of the Lirico di Napoli in various formations. The protagonists of this event will be Gabriele Pieranunzi and Giuseppe Carotenuto on the violins with Alexandra Brucher on the piano.

The program opens with the “Five Pieces” by Dmitri Shostakovich, a collection born thanks to the transcriptions made by Levon Atovm'jan and in which, of Shostakovich, the most disparate faces converge. It is followed by the Suite op. 71 by Moritz Moszkowski, a page of brilliant virtuosity. And again, the “Six Duets” by Robert Schumann in the transcription signed by Alfredo D'Ambrosio. Iberian suggestions at the end of the concert with the “Navarra”, op. 33 by Pablo de Sarasate.
